Amgen Renewables is opening the doors to its dedicated Renewables Technology Centre- September 5th 2011
The centre will be a first of its kind for South Wales and will be located at their headquarters within the Cross Hands Business Park. It will showcase a range of operational renewables including Solar PV, Solar hot water, Ground source heat pumps, Bio-fuels, Fuel cells and Wood burners. Renewables specialists will also be on hand to explain the benefits of each technology and address specific questions. This centre will be an invaluable asset for those looking to further their knowledge in renewables by joining a range of courses dedicated to the DIY enthusiast or the trade.
The Amgen Renewables Technology Centre is a great resource for the local building industry offering courses aimed at trades people wishing to become accredited in specialised areas of renewable technologies such as the MSC accreditations for installing Solar PV systems, solar thermal or heat pumps. Amgen Renewables will use these facilities to strengthen their partnerships with local building companies to assist them with their requirements to comply with the newly introduced Code For Sustainable Homes (CFSH) building regulations.
